Balsall Heath Local History Society

Meetings & Upcoming Programme

Balsall Heath Local History Society* was founded in 1979, since when regular meetings have been held on the last Thursday of each month. Meetings usually take the form of talks and presentations on a variety of subjects, ranging from Birmingham history to more local topics relating to Balsall Heath in particular. “Members nights” are also sometimes held, when our own society members share their memories about their early years in Balsall Heath or tell us about their own researches.

We warmly welcome visitors and new members to our meetings which are held at 7.00p.m. (for a 7:30 start) on the last Thursday of each month at St. Paul’s Venture*, Malvern St, off Clifton Rd, Balsall Heath. The annnual subscription for becoming a member stands at £5 and the membership year runs from April. Visitors are always welcome.
